Winter Solstice has always been a turning point in the story of the world. It is the moment the light begins to return. Across time, land and lineage, people have gathered on this night. Not to rush ahead but to honor the beauty of the in-between. The quiet before the dawn. The fertile darkness where new life begins.

Winter asks us to slow down. The earth goes still, the soil rests, and the work moves inward. Dreaming before doing, listening before building. I believe we are asked to do the same. This season is not a race to the new year, instead it is a homecoming.
