The Wildberry Letters: Letter Five

Why Wildberry 1.0 Is Ending

There is a moment in every woman’s life when she understands deep in her bones that choosing herself is not abandonment.

It is alignment.

And sometimes, alignment looks like ending something beautiful. Something once sacred. Something that changed you and changed others. Something you gave your life to.

Wildberry as it stands today is ending. Not because it failed, but because I finally chose to live in truth.

For years people thought Wildberry was about produce and eggs, about farm markets and pretty little pastries, and the charm of small business. But anyone who really felt it understood what it was truly about, and it wasn’t any of that.

Wildberry was a healing portal disguised as a farm project. It was a living, breathing love letter of devotion made visible through work-worn hands and dusty boots and picnic tables beneath string lights. It wasn’t built from business strategy. It was built from soul.

But something built from your soul will always eventually ask for your truth in return.

And the truth is Wildberry 1.0 was unsustainable because it was built on one nervous system: mine.

A system built on the back of one person will always collapse. And I refuse to keep collapsing to keep something alive that was never meant to stay in this form.

Wildberry can’t continue the way it was because:

  • My body was breaking to hold it and I will not abandon myself again.

  • Every door closed for a reason. This wasn’t punishment, it was protection.

  • Magic isn’t meant to be extracted, it’s meant to be honored.

This is not a rebrand. It’s a reclamation.

I have done the work that most people will run from in their lifetime. I went into the underworld of myself and came back with truth. And now that I’ve remembered who I am, I will not build from self-abandonment again.

If ending Wildberry 1.0 makes some people uncomfortable, I understand. But this decision was never a community vote. It is mine because it's my story, and my soul.

Wildberry was a chapter I will forever love. It changed me. It grew me. It revealed me. But it was never meant to be my whole story.

The truth is, healing changed everything.

And from this point forward, I will only build what my nervous system can hold and my soul has chosen.

This is the end of Wildberry 1.0.

And the beginning of everything that comes next.

More soon.

💛Bridget
