A Peek Inside The Wildberry Farmhouse: The Making of the Renaissance Collection
In a corner of the Wildberry farmhouse, the making of the Renaissance Collection is in full swing... jars of herbs line the shelves like tiny constellations, and on the kitchen table (my “studio” by day and dinner table by night) rows of freshly poured candles rest in vintage vessels, their wicks standing tall and their fragrance drifting softly through the air. Outside, pokeberry clusters darken to rich purples, and walnuts drop to the ground, carrying the first hints of autumn. In the corner, still-drying bundles of herbs hang, catching sunlight in a way that feels like a painting.
It’s not perfect here, there are dye pots on the stove, jars of salt and herbs competing for space with my kids’ lunchboxes, and a constant chorus of creaky floorboards and clinking spoons. But in that chaos, something beautiful is taking shape: The Renaissance Collection.
A Season of Renewal
This collection is my love letter to transformation, the way the land shifts from summer’s hum into autumn’s golden exhale.
After years of vendor-centric events, Wildberry is stepping into its own rhythm. I wanted this collection to feel like that moment when the light changes and you realize the season has turned.
Like a true renaissance, it’s about revival... pulling from the old ways (natural dyes, small-batch blends, hand-poured candles) while stepping into something entirely new for Wildberry.
The Ingredients of the Season
Hand-Dyed Linens — Dyed in small batches using pokeberry and black walnut gathered here on the farm. No two pieces are exactly alike; the colors shift depending on the day’s light, the water’s mood, and the berries’ ripeness.
Tea Blends — Blackberry leaves, calendula, and chamomile harvested from our own garden and fields, dried slowly to preserve their magic. Each blend is designed to feel like a warm hand around your mug on a crisp morning
Herb Salts — Oregano, basil, thyme, and sage, picked at peak season, combined with sea salt, and jarred for your autumn and holiday feasts. It’s summer’s abundance in winter’s pantry.
Candles, Room Sprays + Reed Diffusers — Scents pulled straight from the sensory memory of the farm: cool evenings, wood smoke, sweet autumn air.
Lucetta Match Strikers — Small, tactile pieces that turn lighting a candle into a ritual.
Made to Be Rare
Nothing in this collection is mass-produced or easily replicated. When the pokeberries are gone, they’re gone until next year. The herb salts will only taste like this once. And the candle scents, crafted to match this exact season, will retire with the first frost.
