Behind the Barn Doors is a series where I share the honest, unpolished truths of running Wildberry — the beauty, the grit, and everything in between.

Hand holds a green leaf under a black kitchen faucet. Background shows glass vases with flowers, creating a fresh, natural setting.
Blackberry leaves that looked like a butterfly. The first sign this season wanted to be a renaissance.

Earlier this week, I wrote about what it feels like to keep feeding the hustle, the endless hungry machine that always demands more. That was the truth of Wildberry 1.0: constant motion, constant output, and the weight of being misunderstood.

But this season, something shifted. After years of hustle, I finally felt the turning.

This fall feels different. After years of sprinting, Wildberry is finding its breath again. And so am I. The Renaissance Collection was born out of that feeling... a season of rebirth, of remembering who we are at the root.

The word “renaissance” means rebirth, but it also means a revival of art, beauty, and soul. That’s what I want this fall to feel like. Not more hustle, but more heart.

Every candle we poured, every linen we dyed, every jar we filled is part of that story. They carry both the beauty and the grit: The light in the field at dusk, the herbs drying in the kitchen, the hands that keep shaping, season after season.

This isn’t just a product line. It’s Wildberry’s turning point, and mine too. A chance to let go of what doesn’t serve us and lean into the rhythm of slower, deeper, truer. That’s why I called it The Renaissance Collection.

The collection launches Tuesday, September 2nd, and when it does you’ll see not just what we’ve made, but who we’ve become.
