The Renaissance Begins

There’s a certain kind of light that only shows up at the edges of seasons.
Late August into September, the fields shift. The sun dips lower, the gold stretches longer, and everything feels like it’s holding its breath for what’s next.
Wildberry is in that kind of season, too.
This past summer was full: markets every weekend, sunburns and thunderstorms, muddy boots and tired kids, long days that blurred into longer nights. But underneath all of it, we were slowly, steadily making a shift. What started as a “market farm” is evolving into something deeper: a rhythm that feels like home. Less hustle, more story. Less noise, more meaning.
We’re calling this next chapter Wildberry 1.5. A stepping stone toward the full vision of Wildberry 2.0, where the farm becomes not just a place you visit, but an experience you carry with you.
And the Renaissance Collection is our first expression of that.
Rooted in the Land
This collection began in the soil and trees that have held our family for generations.
Pokeberries stained our hands a vivid pink as we dyed linen by hand. Black walnuts dropped from the trees, grounding us in their deep brown hues. Oregano, sage, thyme, and basil dried in bunches across the kitchen, ready to be folded into seasonal herb salts. Blackberry leaves and calendula blossoms curled delicately in baskets, waiting to become tea.
Each product is a conversation with the land. Not rushed. Not mass-produced. Just slow, intentional, small-batch.
Two of my favorites anchor this launch:
Golden Hour in October, a candle that smells like warm light hitting falling leaves, carrying the promise of a cozy night ahead.
Season’s End Herb Salt, a simple, grounding way to carry the flavor of the garden into soups, roasts, and breads as the days cool.
There’s more too... teas, linens, room sprays, and a few surprises, but at the heart of it all is this: everything was made here, by hand, with care.
The Honest Truth About The Renaissance Collection
Here’s the part you won’t see in the styled photos.
Herbs don’t dry themselves. Linen doesn’t dye itself. And fall collections don’t package themselves at 11:30 at night when the house is finally quiet and the kids are asleep.
Behind the scenes, it’s messy. It’s stained hands from collecting pokeberries. It’s hauling buckets of black walnuts while also juggling back-to-school nights and dinner leftovers. It’s wondering if anyone will show up on Saturday, and then being floored when someone buys a candle and says, “I’ve been waiting for this.”
Wildberry has never been perfect. But it has always been real. And I think that’s what makes it magic.
An Invitation
The Renaissance Collection is here.
Every candle poured, every salt blended, every linen dyed has been created in small batches: slowly, intentionally, and with the season in mind. Nothing here is unlimited. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
This launch isn’t just about products. It’s about carrying a piece of the farm home with you, about remembering that handmade, heart-led things are still worth making space for.
